I fancy giving this a try just for lol, but I didn't get a pair of glasses with my card :(

Will any red/cyan glasses work with the driver, or do they have to be a certain shade of red/cyan to function? I was thinking of just grabbing a pair off ebay or something.

No, for the 2 colour method you don't need 120Hz.

Why didn't you pick up a pair of blue/amber glasses at Sainsburys? AFAIK the drivers can be hacked to work with blue/amber glasses.

I got these 2 pairs for 99p they work as well, but remember the colours are red & cyan so it does look old school.
    But the 3D works.

I'd totally go for the proper 3D stuff If i could afford it.

I would kill for the NVIDIA 3D Vision, but I can't justify the monitor (yet). Lottery win ahoy!

OK, I've given it a try, mixed results.

I think I can see too much of wrong image through eye, destroying the illusion. (blue lens eye can see 2 images - main image and a heavy red shadow image)

On games with a hud it looks amazing, but looking scenery ruins it thanks to this little hiccup :(

was doing Virtual reality labs on friday. we used something called shutter glasses. Things gave me a terrible headache and nausea after about 15 mins. Mind you 3D is pretty cool lol.
