I got a CCFL from SVC, and it's so pink, it's almost white! I'm looking for red film to put over it? I went to Office depot to see if they have red overhead transparencies, but they don't. I right now, I'm using clear plastic, and a red perm marker, but it doesn't look so good..

If you know any local theatres, ask for some Red Gel material, they are bound to have extra. you might have to pay though.

be warned.. that stuff can be needlessly expensive.. but yeah, it'll work.. (you can do a decent job for cheaper tho for some of the previous ideas) (the red gel would be perfect.. thats what its made for.. most theatres (stage not cinema) do have em.. a lot of times if ya can talk to the actual lighting guy, hes got scraps lying around)

Gels work well if you can find them. There are even special tube shapped ones for florecent lamps.
