You, of all people, should know that General Discussion is not the place to put a site critique.

Close it if you need, or move to off-topic.

But i am not trying to pimp.
I don't need the traffic, I need the feedback.

I moved it here so you could get a critique :)

(I'm having the occasional problem with the leftmost side of the page rendering incorrectly)

I don't really like your massive navigation buttons. They are too in your face. A more minimal design would be better I think.

Looks very nice, although it does take ages to load on 56k...

Apart from that my only other bother is the default Times New Roman font, doesn't suit such a techy site tbh. :thumb:

Its a big improvement over the old site. I like it with a couple of exceptions (both mentioned here) - the times new roman font is way out for a modern website like yours, and the nav buttons could be smaller maybe? Otherwise, props to you for the new site! :thumb:

Great site, I love the plasma ball, the thing I was gonna say is that your font need changing as ^ mentioned And possibly smaller navigation buttons (not all of us need glasses u know!) . Like the site anyway.

Much better than the other site,
    however your preloader throws an

"Error 9: Object expected" on the index page.

    Thanks guys.

I am still trying to find a good font that fits my style.
The nav buttons are large, I will shrink them over time, as I may need to fit more buttons into the same space later.

I will look into the error on the splash page. It probably has to do with the frame-breaker script I put in.

P.S. Does anyone know any good free forum software?
I just need a place for questions and answers.
My project logs will still reside here.

Your site, IMO, is ugly/fugly. Dont want to offend you or anything :p I just hate big spacey flash buttons. Try to clean the design up and whatnot, the text is too big, change the font aswell </critique> :p

    Looks wicked,
hueva said it was right tho; nav buttons are slightly too big. Excellent nevertheless.

http://www.phpbb.com is among the best free ones.

For crazy content management I love http://www.plone.org but you'd have to host it yourself or find a plone host (which is much more expensive than php)

I'm a minimalist myself, so it's a bit too busy. Since I browse at work a lot, I'm not a big fan of sites that look flashy and obviously off-topic. (I'm not a fan of the smilies on these forums either)

Overall, a huge step up and not bad, just not my flavor of ice-cream.
