Networks RedHat 7.1, Apache, Smoothwall

argh,

basically...

i can connect to the webserver off other systems on the network, but not via TCP.

i have tryed port forwarding in smoothwall, but i get a forbidden error...

Forbidden
You were denied access because:
Access denied by access control list.

im forwarding port 80 to port 80 of the linux boxes local IP.

have you enabled external service access for port 80?

Just leave the source IP input box blank and put 80 in the destination port :dude:

 

ive forwarded a port to port 80 of the servers IP yes.

it wont allow you to leave the destination IP blank.

I said external service access, not port forwarding, you need both to allow it to work.

tried getting someone else to try and access it? I know it sounds wierd but for me, other people can access the page on my server via tcp but I cant from a computer on the network...

if that doesnt do it im out of ideas
