Windows Registry backup

    Hi, I am looking for way to backup the registry for 9x machines. Can I please get some ideas of how to do this and how they work. I trying to multi ideas on how to do this so whatever you come up is much appreciated.

    In Win9x, the registry consists of USER.DAT and SYSTEM.DAT in your Windows directory. You could back those up (using a batch file, perhaps).

    24giovanni, do learn to use Google. '98SE registry backup' will give you lots of information, including Microsoft's.
    This only keeps the last 5-days-worth by default, but you can change it to keep more, though restoring an older copy gets less simple.
