How do you lot release your anger Ok today my hdd gave in and its taken my other so im now 90GB down and i've lost 10k of MP3z am so pissed off at the mo and i can't smash thsi keyboard usual rage let out cause its costing me alot now
Just copy them back from the original CD's you own again. Besides, this is the technogods way of telling you to back stuff up.

I had more than 400 hours of mp3s on my pc, I re-built my machine and they all **** up Now only got like 200hours and can't be assed to copy them back up as it took months in the first place.

You have to be careful playing with animals when you're pissed off (you might rip their heads off) Have you tried putting the HDD in the freezer?

Ive learnt my lesson the hard way too now I always back up my files on my old 20 gig HD. Good way to take out anger is to go do some weights or go cycling.
When I'm mad I just play JKII and strangle/riddle people. Makes me feel a lot better I learned to keep backups of my MP3s on normal CDs, as re-ripping them is a major pain. Then, if my system ever goes down, I have all my MP3s ready to copy, along will all the playlists and such. That does stink, though, what kind of drive is it?
Yipes, and it just failed out of the blue??? /me starts making backups of 80 gig Maxtor disk I don't know if the freezer trick works on Maxtor drives, but it's worth a shot! Anything but having to lost all that data It is still under warntee, is it not?
