that is the best news i've read ever! im a HUGE fan of HW series.

 

A true FPS Space Marine would be Epic.. Or just make one where you can play as all the races. Hmm.. If only Valves HL2 engine supported the gigantic Emperor Titans in scale, we would be in business.. Sort of.

I tell you what I want to see.

A 1st person, FPS, 40k game with you as a Space Marine. Designed for the PC.

Start you off as a recruit in training. Then work your way through the ranks to Captain/Lord or whatever. As you progress through the ranks (time span of centuries), you start being able to get tactical and issuing orders to your sqaud(s).

You get to take part in battles on different worlds all over the galaxy and space hulks.

Multiplayer could see your squad taking on AI going through a - designed for - an all human squad campaign, or versus another human enemy squad. Dedicated servers.

You get to custom paint your armour for multiplayer, obviously which will help with clans. As your clan does better maybe they get unlocks that allow further customisation of the paint jobs. Individual unlocks let you add things onto your armour, wep unlocks, terminator armour etc etc.

Add ons can allow you to follow different storylines for different races. To see the campaign from the other side sort of thing.

That is what I want to see.

 

I'm a sucker for all things warhammer, books, computer games. I Hoover em up.

Which is odd considering i've never played the tabletop original.

Just such a fabulous universe.
