For those who dont, here what it looked like before the terminator look
I used Krilon natural chrome but it was mat color with glass frost to start with so i guess it helped a lot :thumb:
I've also added a few loose wires for the ripped off effect lolll webcam still works and the strobe that was in, that gave it a glowing effect when it was green , now looks like the head is sparking from the inside, looks cool :hehe:

    Awesome.

You wouldn't by chance have taken construction pictures would you? How did you attach the flexible shaft?

Sorry i didn't, i really tought this wouldn't work at all :duh:

The shaft comes from a lamp, you know those stiffy desk lamp loll. I kept all the washers and nuts, but i did not keep the base, so i had to find myself something to replace that and since i'm in metal, i've found a nice 1/4 inch thick round steel plate that was screaming "take me, take me" loll, in fact i didn't have to do anything but reduce the thickness in the middle, with a large drill bit for the original nut and washer to get a grip on the shaft. The upper part was way simpler, i drilled a hole in the base of the skull's plastic and attached it with the other side nut. I just used a bigger washer so the plastic wouldn't crack when i move the whole thing. The rest is here, it was gloss green, then i spray painted it with glass frost used to give a mat finish to anything (even glass) then i re painted it with krylon original chrome.I guess the mat finish helped a lot for the chrome to stick well, i tried all kind of chrome paint before on other project, but never had that result with it.

Edit : btw you have to get something heavy for the base, in fact heavier than the top with everything if you dont want your whole thing to tip over when you bend the shaft.Just tought i'd say it in case someone wants to do something similar :dremel:

It all started when i didn't want my balled webcam on my monitor anymore, so i've put it into one of the eye. it's a haloween head so it has a strobe inside of it. The other eye is one of those balls that flashes when you tap them slightly and it still works. I also use it as a head set stand and it's a good conversation piece when friends come over to play games.

Description in 2 words "another gadget" lol :hehe:
