Reminder (UK): Mothers Day Sunday 6th March

Just FYI, cause i thought it was the 13th but aparently it's next sunday. Im sure i ask this every year, and im sure the US has one but i think it's a different date. Is it the same in any other country this w/e?

 

It's sometime in May in the US... can't remember of the top of my head....
when I saw you post I was like oh crap, I need to get something for my wife, and for my mom... then I saw the (UK) and was like whew...

Well for the first time in my life I don't have to bother My mum recently decided she didn't want me as a son so it saves me the cash.

 

I don't believe in all these recently-invented special days (apart from Father's Day). Just another day for the card producers to spread their sales over the year.

im actually prepared for once, i ended up in whsmiths and they had a stupidly early display full of mothers day cards so i got ahead of the game and bought one!!!

 

Dude you're a lifesaver, I thought it was towards mid/late March! Father's Day I can forget ... miss Mother's Day and I'm cooking for myself when I'm at home next.
And yes cpemma you're right, it is a bit of a Hallmark-Holiday really...
