Im thinking of watercooling my Bitfenix Colossus, and i would like to put a 240 rad in the roof. However, to do this i would need to remove the USB3 Controller in the front of the case. At the moment this is not even powered anyway because when i plug the molex into the PSU it wont turn off. The ports appear to still work, although i dont have any USB 3.0 devices to test if they work fully. Now if i were to remove the controller in the top of the case could i just run the 2 USB 3 extension cables that already run from the back of the mobo and just use those minus the controller, because the controller covers a tiny bit of the top grill? I dont see why this shouldnt work but im am prone to wrongness! Cheers
