I've had a 9800 Pro for a while and recently its been producing artifacts and totally glitching out on and off for the last couple of weeks (as some who read my other topic might know). I pretty much want to upgrade anyway so I decided to buy a 6800 and a coolermaster 430 watt PSU for my system. This will essentially complete a new build I started a few months ago.

Anyways, I want to completely remove the Ati drivers to make way for my new nVidia drivers and I was wondering how to do that. I remember Omega's drivers site used to have a tutorial on how to do it (back when I was getting Omega's drivers for my old 5200) for nVidia drivers. I'm gonna check there also to see if theres a tutorial for it, just figured I would post this here also. Windows XP home is the OS I'm running.

This stuff should be pretty cool!

    Thanks in advance. :thumb:

I looked around on Omega's site for a good tutorial on how to remove the drivers but I didn't find anything informative enough to go by, so if someone could tell me how, that would be greatly appreciated.

I do have Driver Cleaner, but from what I understand I have to use that after I remove the drivers the hard way to get rid of any traces of ATi's drivers.
