Modding Removing the labels on the buttons of a remote

    (didn't know exactly where this belonged, but as it's a bit of remote-modding I guess it can fit in here)

    I don't like some of the labels on the buttons of my remote control, and I'd like to get them off (not put something in place, just getting them off is fine :)), but how? I know that if you rub it enough it will come off eventualy (like you can see on the old remotes), but there must be another way? Also I'd like it to be without damaging the know itself, so you really can't see that there has been a label on it once.

    could try hi grit sand paper lik 1500... or rubbing alcahol... I think even or an exacto knife might work.. what ever.. if your careful it shoulnd't hurt the remote

    Try painting it with tipp-ex over the labels then letting it dry then remove it with white spirit works on every thing I have tried :)

    metarinka: lol, I really don't feel like using sandpaper or a knife to remove it (I have shaky hands :p)
