There's a couple of other that'd look good with some cropping. The Megane race photos turned out a bit crappy, didn't have a good view at all, only of their back ends. I was stood at the Dunlop tyre.

 

Nice shots there Kenco, sport mode on mine with max zoom (3x - doh!) was my key.
I think I got the best place for the Meganes tbh!

I thought I'd begin with the car that started it all for Renault, the 1898 Renault Voiturette, with a top speed of...32 km/h!!!

i think i have a picture of the pit girls somewhere too!!

 

The GF and i went and camped in Castle Donnington on sat night then got there at about 9:30 on sun. We left just after the Clio cup race and it still took us just over 2 hours to get out of the vicinity . A couple of pics that i managed to snap along the way, looks like a few people were round the same chicane as us.

 

OMG Fredsfriend....you were stood either behind us or infront on sunday when that megane span out! Freaky!

We were on seats at the top of the hill all day near the hedge, but i'd venture down to the fence every so often to get better shots.

Annoyingly the camera died shortly into the Clio race so i missed loads of good accidents.

 

we were stood just behind some people on chairs as close as they could get to the ditch might've noticed me, not too hard cus im 6'4 lol xD

Ah we were right at the back on top of the grass hill, i just went down to the fence by the ditch every so often to take photos

have to say guys i'm not happy with the lack of wimmin here....

i can't get my pix off my phone yet because the bluetooth is always in use so i can get some sort of internet connection (115kbps GPRS kicks ass)

 

We were at that chicane all day so no wimmin there, plus i don't think i could have got away with blatant shots with the GF next to me. She saw the photos i took at the gumball and wasn't too impressed.

I have to say i'm quite interested in the quality of the pit girls
