I've been planning a project for a few months now, and today I finally finnished the sketchup medel. After doing some reseach, I found a free rendering program called Kerkythea. It is a free rendering program. But after further examination, I've found that sketchup files cannot be rendered using this program. Could anyone explain to me how to do a render using this program, and also give me a few tips as this is my first time rendering. Thanks in advance! Matt
maybe you need a paid version of sketchup to be able to export the files so that Kerkythea can render it?
Well, I downloaded the plugin. After attempting to install it I am still having problems. Instructions: So, all the plugins folder has in it is the folder su2kt, and the file su2kt.rb. Then the components folder has "components sampler" and "KT Lights". Is this correct? If that is correct, I have tried using sketchup and nothing has changed from before I started. What types of things would change inside sketchup to let me know i installed it right? Thanks! Matt
Your plugins folder should look like: Then in Sketchup View--->Toolbars----> make sure SU2Kerkythea is ticked to give you the extra toolset shown bottom left
Thanks! I must of had it installed wrong or something, thats what I thought I did but i went back and it wasn't in the plugins folder. Matt
