Back is almost finished hi guys, her are the last pictures of the RENEGADE rear side. the fan outlets are cut and have the same crossfire and sight pin look like in the front. the star wars door has its own vent with the chimney and the switch has its armour plates too. a few more little touches tomorrow and then i will start doing the inside. her are the pictures. The top slanted plain emty part is for plot and paint, as a later feature. name date etc.. more to come
soon color will be coming into the whole game , he is already inside, did you miss the post. @ starbee and balder, yes that is indeed a good question. i will be weighing it soon too. so far i would guess between 20 and 40 kilos, will weigh asap. so hello again everyone, her is yet another update fron the RENEGADE front. i have started another 3d-logo skull breakout shield for the front. it will have wings or some other miltary rank signs. its still not looking mean enough but it will with paint etc.. as you can remeber from the first post, RENEGADE, The Public Enemy used to be in the military before he rebelled against the whole system, but he still has his rank so thats why its also an important feature. apart from that you may or may not see the other differences, lots of earth wire railings and the anti scrape rods of stainless stell so that the monitor when opened does not get scrathed on the bach armour plate which covers its wires. the X-Y joystick for the primary weapon is also mounted. as you can see in some of the pictures wheer i have started to dismantle the whole case, the rear pane can be removed in a whole taking the swing cover etc all off at once. more to come started the break down of the mock up for painting.. more to come......
hi guys and here are some more pics, i made a rear console so that i can easily access the led and gun x ycontroller from the back too. it has a plaque with handles too in the same dominat RENEGADE railing style, and will also have scription on in too when painted. the plaques are sanded at 45 degress so that they are recognisable as plques and console covers and not the armour plates. also made a plaque for the monitor too where i will also have scription. made a lot of railings and screw holes etc.. at the moment i am more or less just drilling hole and making tunnles and paths for the wiring because i am moving to my garage on the weekend for the first pain coats. more to come..
thanks guys, i am also curoius and eager to get some coats of paint on this one. i fiddles around with the front shield or arms today, made horns for the skull and two swords too, not finished yet and will only look the way i picture them after files around a bit , puttyed and airbrushed but you can see where its going i guess.. here are the pics. this weekend i will be shifting to my garage for the first coats of paint (i hope) more to come
I definitely voted right in May's MOTM, this is unbelievable! Even the jawdrop smiley can't express my admiration for the workmanship here. So I'll settle for the Dremel smiley instead:
I like devil skull and swords. Really awesome project man. Paint it, paint it...joke, please do more cool details. good luck
THE POOR RENEGADE hi everyone and thanks for motivating me with your remarks and critics. so after almost 1200 hours of modding this baby, its finally time to break "RENEGADE, The Public Enemy" down its heart breaking to see such a stronghold dismantled into a heap of wood, metal plastic and other rmaterials. but i can guarantee you, this will be the only downfall ever for the RENEGADE. He will rise and shine in full colour and hopefully look bigger, better and more threatening than ever. Its finally time to get some paint on this baby, these pics are of the broken down parts. only now have i realised just how many there are. i will prime everthing first and then sand it off, while the first coat is drying i will be doing the case interior design, so you will be seeing interior work as well as painting and wiring afterwards. more to come PS: its hard for me to believe that this will all fit together as a casemod afterwards when i see this pile of stuff here.
RENEGADE PRIME hi guys i have broken down the RENEGADE and here are the primed parts ready for sanding. while they are drying, i will start the interior designing. its unbelievable how many parts i have created and they are not even all on the photos.
wow. still interested in how much it weighs... Good luck with the painting - I look forward to seeing your progress! great job!
I will weigh it as soon as its all stuck back together again, and believe me i am really curious whether all goes well in finding the right place for everthing. this one surely breaky all records for the amount of mad parts
