Anyone had an experience with these? My landlord has decided he wants us to have guarantors for our rent and for damage before we can sign on for our next rental period. They seem very open ended and a bit worrying despite him saying that it wont be called on except for 'extreme circumstances' (and he emphasised that too) Any thoughts people?
Most of the management companies in Edinburgh do this, though I'm sure you can get out of it (Parents don't support you in any way, etc). Personally the last few places I rented I set this up, this time I forgot but they never bothered asking again.
