I have added a bunch of music files to a folder and note that I now have duplicate number 1's, 2's etc etc, I cannot find a simple way to change the numbering so that I have a list of tunes in numerical order.
    Surely this is easy right?

Sounds interesting, as I have some messed up tags in my large FLAC library. Will give it a go. Good luck Glenn, thanks MadGinga

Do you mean in Windows file manager you want to make the tracks group by album or artist, rather sort purely alphabetically?

If they are tagged MP3 files (or similar) going to view>sort by>album, or view>details then click to top of the column to sort, might do what you want to achieve.
