Other Repalace xp with lite software

I'd have to disagree on this 1, I put 2x 512 in my old laptop on xp and it was like a new machine, boot times went from 3mins plus to under a minute and the whole thing felt much snappier.

 

You could, but you'd still only have 512 so there would be nothing to gain

 

Ill have a look for two stick of ddr2 ram on fleebay

 

DDR2? you did'nt say that yesterday, I think I've got some of that laying around aswell...lol

 

sorry i thought i did it is using pc2-4200 ram.wow you must have everything in your house lol

 

Lol you did sort of you said ddr2400mhz and read it wrong ...sort of...lol I'm an upgrade junkie so I end up with all sorts laying around, plus if some one come to me with a totally dead PC I end up stripping out all the stuff thats still good and can be used elsewhere. I dropped a load down to a mates house and he built 4 P4 systems with it and I've still got a load laying about that needs sorting...

 

You must of been building systems for a good while so
