Hi everyone, I need advice on a reservoir to get for my new watercooling project. I have bought a 5.25" drive bay one, but it won't fit into my case (too long).

It needs to be quite small as I am trying to cram this all into a coolermaster centurion case. I have seen a dangerden cylindrical one - are there any better ones?

What pump will you be using it with?

I know some of the eheims are compatible with the innovatek attachable res (attaches directly to the pump).

I'll be using a Swiftech MCP350/Laing DDC pump, as I hear it is good for my setup (low flow rate I think) and very quiet.

I think you might have been misadvised. I have no personal expeirience of that pump but its normally used in hi-flow setups and is regarded as being somewhat noisy.

Not misled, just not fully informed.

If you turn it down on a rheobus, you can make it quiet/lower flow, but stock it's pretty damn powerful.

Heh, just reverse what you posted and that's the correct info!!!
Properly isolated (pump, tubing) it's about Ehiem 1048 level of noise.
It's highish flow if you "Flowmod" the DDC inlet.
[edit] "Do not" turn it down on a rheobus. It's a very quiet pump.
If your DDC is loud, it's not the pump. "Isolate"

you sure you're not confused with the D4 and DDC :)
D4 is very high performance but has the reputation of being rather whiney
DDC is less flow but still has very high pressure and is almost silent :D
