I have just bought a new system for doing video editing stuff on. The specs are as follows: =

    ECS nforce3-a mobo
    radeon all-in-wonder 9800 pro
    2x512mb of corsair pc3200
    200gb SATA maxtor HD
    2xSony DVD recorders
    500 Watt PSU

I have stuck it all together and there seems to be nothing but trouble with the package. I have issues with everything. Some times it will not boot up at all, instead it will continuously reboot at the XP loading screen. I have also found that on the occasions it does boot up it will hang after a random period.

Also when I try to use the video capture of it it does not work all I get is black screen if svideo and snowy screen if cable input.

Has anyone got any ideas how i go about fixing this or any useful links I can loiok at with regards to the BIOS settings of this board.

    "500 watt PSU". Branded?

Anything to do with seemingly random lockups and reboots can be attributed to a crappy power supply. Also give your memory a run through HCI memtest until it hits 500-600%.
