What time can we get our results? Good question I don't know really.... I am a bit nervous, I don't think I'll have done that badly (apart from maybe in Maths ) but I don't think I'll get the sort of grades needed to go on to do medicine either (AAB minumum at A2, so if I get less than that at AS then I will have to reconsider whether I can do medicine). There is always the semi-comforting thought of resits though..... EDIT: I have changed the thread title, this shall become the hofficial 2003 AS/A2 exam results thread if thats ok with you Superfly? Just so we don't get a large number of different threads going 'woah i am worried/happy/about to be killed by parents/chucked out of school'...
Sure it is, my mind's on other matters I think we can pick up results at 8:45 am? I need AAB in my A2s! Don't worry about your AS results too much Will, the resits make it better
I need 3 Bs to get into my first choice, not sure if I've done it...we'll see. I can't collect my results till 10am though
I need BCC to get into Cardiff and BCC to get into Lancaster. I got BBCC in AS but I only just got a C in maths (by one mark). I think I totally screwed up chemistry this time though I just hope my retakes will bring everything up a little. Arg, I'm really nervous which is weird because I hardly ever am about these things. Everyone I've spoken too thinks I'll easily get the grades which would be true had I done any work during study leave!
Good luck ya all. Even if u dont get the results you wanted dont worry cause the courses usually let you on anyway on your predicted grades. I was predicted ABC and got BBD and was still let on the chem course i wanted
LOL @ Bindi Our results are @ 11am tommorow. However you could always ring college in the morning, there is going to be someone there if you think about it. I remember last year @ AS, someone told us all it was 11AM, and then when we got there we discovered that was A2 not AS, so we had to hang around for FOUR hours waiting; aweful when your waiting for results!
Well, I thought that I might be able to drive myself to school tomorrow to collect my results but the woman at the dsa, she say NO. Stupid bint. I'm really feeling depressed now. I don't think I could stand getting crap marks tomorrow
Honestly guys, I crack up everytime people say I NEED 3B's... a mate of mine got on a 14pt course with something like 4 points...
i really dont care what i get 2moz im not even gonna bother going into collect them i'll just have em sent home
ok, so if its not bad enough that its results tomorow, i get three phone calls today saying 'will it be possible for me to be at college by 08:00, for breakfast with a select group and the principle' BOOOOOOOOOO
Don't really mind what I get tomorrow as long as I get an A in Electronics and pass physics. If I fail maths, i'll leave school (cos I wont have met the requirements to carry on to do A2s). My predictions are Electronics - A Physics - D Maths - U
Well im predicted - Chemistry A/B Biology A/B Physics C Maths E/U If i fail maths, i really dont care as im going to drop it and id fail retake it in november. Even if i get an E a pass at AS level in maths still looks good for unis [optimism=loads]Im confident i havent failed the other three [/optimism]
Well I'm in. I got 320 points when I needed 280. I got more than I needed because I didn't know that the points included my AS result (thank god it did or I wouldn't have got in). Me:
Grats m8 I got: B - English (14 marks off an A) C - ICT (8 marks off a B) C - Physics (A for my practical \o/) D - Theatre Studies (who cares lol)
