I was on Flea Bay and noticed the the old Spectrums were goin for about a tenner. When I spoke to a mate about it he said retro gaming is on the rise? Is there a spectrum or Amiga emulator on the Net that you guys could help me find I wanna show my little boy what Games used to be like... Cheers Guys
There are emulators, try google search. I'm not sure about the legality of the game ROM's though, so this thread may die soon.
try this site www.planetemu.net has spectrum,amiga,cps 1&2,neogeo(Captain commando!!!! ),commodore megadrive and lots and lots of others!!!! Got some realy good games,just download a emulator, i got winkawaks (runs most of the cps 1&2 and nse and neogeo (metal slug!!!) didn't download spectrum emulator since my brother got me one with hundreds of games!!! Have fun and show your kid how was it like back in the days when one had to "tune" the tape reader to make it work...while listening to that zinnnngrinchhhhhh.....
Been playing on the sega mega drive my house mate brought up. I love streets of rage 2 soooo much im thinking of buying it off her. Superb in it's simplicity. Makes you think of all the other cool games you played for hours as a kid and never looked at again.
yea the leagality is realy messed up theres loads of different opinons what 'legal' and not... theres some real stupid ones like you can have them on your pc for 24 hours as a kinda like demo period then your ment to delete them then theres the people who say they are 100% legal Hmmm... Metal Slug is the best
