We doing some custom order paint jobs for Performance-PCs, the custom mix paint color is 2005 Ferrari F430 factory red paint.

Paint is Automotive Acrylic Urethane by PPG.

Applying clear over paint to Silverstone and A70 top panels with HVLP (hi-volume-low-pressure) spray gun.

Panels arrive back at Mnpctech's studio and await assembly

The Lian Li A-70 is first up. The original window was freakin pop-riveted onto the panel! I thought theres no way I'm going to re-install with that method. I drilled out the holes and use these nifty anodized red socket head screws. I had got them years ago from a friend. I'm assembling the Silverstone TJ09 next, with it's sportscar inspired side intake ducts that case ought to really fit the Ferrari paint! More to come!

Lets take it outdoors for more photos, Wow! what a reflection!

Well, it definitely looks good, but I wish you shared with us more details regarding the process from start to finish.

Looks nice - I must say a Rosso Corsa case is very tempting, although you would have to find a red mobo, graphics card, watercooling kit, etc etc to go in it. Or do away with the window...

Man, Bill....that's gorgeous. I look forward to perusing this case in person! :naughty: I'll see if Hank will let me take a look at it. Man, that spray-job looks like liquid sex!

    Edit:
@ Stuey: Lots of more info on the technique. Awesome forum too!

Right on, the A70 will ship out first, I'll let ya know when he should be expecting it. The TJ09 should follow closely after. Should have pics of the TJ09 up soon!

    Amazing, I love it!

What kind of equipment to do you need for a good spray gun setup? Think an autoshop would let me use theirs?

    Thanks everybody!

@ Xs1t0ry, I doubt any autobody outfit would w/o any prior experience. We use a HVLP professional paint gun, 60 gallon Compressor, Automotive Urethane Paints & Clearcoats by PPG & House of Kolor. You need to know how to proper mix the paints as well.

I do have a small update on the Silverstone Tj09, heres the side and top panels after re-installing the black perforated factory grills. This case fits that paint theme beautifully! I should the final pics up this coming week.

Thank you! I must say gang, as a case connisuer, I'm throughly impressed with the intake duct on the Silverstone TJ09, man it's really a sick idea!

Both the A70 and TJ09 are in route to Hank for his approval. The A70 should arrive tommorow, the TJ09 on Monday

That is incredable, the paintwork is imaculate.

I especially like the silverstone, the black and red go incredably well together.

And the shine on the front panel on the pic showing the front panel and side intake close up, that is just fantastic.
