First of, it's an amazing build, with the wood and all.:jawdrop:

I had a noizie DCC-T1 pump, but after I powered it down a bit with an fancontroler it stopt making noize, and only a slight temperature rise under load. but thats with a DCC pump, you could try it.

keep up the good stuff comming:clap::clap::clap:

Thanx Waynio! Guess most pumps are a bit noisy. A bit suprising, when WC is suppose to be the more quiet cooling option.

Nor really sure what a "sponge sandwich" is =)

Thanks! I'm going to reduce the voltage, I'll let you know the results.

    A small update:

Finsihed the keyboard mod today. Decided to go with the veneer overlay. Some shots below.

This is the backside, when docked to the storage unit. This is also what the top of Revelation'll look like.

And inside the storage you'll find mouse and other Rev accessories.

The storage can be used as an optional mousepad, although it's a bit small.

And my "R-Kaid-42" machine just got an ICON feature in STUFF magazine. The staff there did a pretty impressive photo job I must say.

    Laterz!

    Thanx Boorach!!

Going to look into that sandwish some then =)

Yeah, the R-Kaid-42 was a bit of a project between projects, really happy with the design of that little one though. I guess I owe you guys some pictures of the machine:

That is so cool. It's the smallest machine you've made so far. That is a great storage solution, I absolutely love the asteroid imagery as well.

I really like the way these things are looking but i feel bad that I lost faith in this when I first saw it because you didn't match the direction of the grain when you patched the usb spot on the second page

my though process went something like this. wow this is looking really really good (moves to page 2) o he messed up... wait he isn't putting that in that hole he has to notice that... WTH is he doing he put that much work into this and then does that!

Any ways it is really looking good and I don't think I have even seen that part used in any other photos lol

Yep, smallest one so far. Real proud of the magnet assembly. Than you Wisdom, your approvals are like checkpoints for me :cooldude:

If you look closer at the pictures you're talking about, you can see that I covered it all with veneer. I would NEVER leave a piece like that, I though you guys knew my by now :hip:

Eheim 1046 is a very quiet pump, but its very low power and probably too bulky for your build.
It also only has a tiny G1/4 outlet so you need an adapter to fint any standard fittings on it.
It's originally a 220v pump but innovatek and aquacomputer make 12v versions.

I love that graphic too, I shudder to think how many 10pence pieces I invested (Invested is such a nicer word than squandered) down the bowling alley playing this game as a kid.

Cracking build as always Squid. please keep posting here. We are interested :)

I wasn't sure if that was the same piece as it looks nothing like the little of the front shown from the back. Anyways looks really good so keep up the good work.

The 1046 seem a bit expensive =( I will try to reduce voltage on the one I have first. Thanks!

I really think you should post!!

Thanks! I've sold a few of them actually, with different custom graphics work.

    Thanks Pranja!

Thanks man! If all those coins were investments, you'd be richer than rich by now =)

I guess I could have made it more obvious, yes. Thanks!

Started playing around with a new design for the interface, art deco style sort of. Quite happy with it.

    From above:

    1.Start screen
    2.Game system selection screen
3.Game selection screen (with snapshot from game)

Also, I've been trying to quiet that damn noisy DC-LT pump. With fan controller, reducing the voltage to about 40%, it's better, but not good enough. Small O-rings between nuts and mounting also helps a bit, but still not quiet. :sigh:

Perfect tip from Darkwisdom, A sound isolation box for the pump will be the way to go, will let you run it on max speed without the annoyance especially if you make your own going a little OTT to make sure it's silent. :D

    Interface looks excellent to me.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the tip! You guys are talking about making my own box right? The one in the link doesn't support the DC-LT plexi top I have...
