Just a quick quiestion, normal rc cars you press a button and the thing lurches forword but I want to be able to make it slowly get faster through pots. Can I do this through the rf singnel it sends.Thanks.
Don't most higher-end RC cars (like, the ones that you build/are gas powered/extremely high quality) have a variable throttle anyway? I don't know how you would do it, possibly something in the controller to make the throttle joystick charge slowly build, but then what happens when you want to take off really fast...
Its a pritty chincy one only 15 bucks, and its not for racing or enything I am working on a project that requiers veriable speed.Eny one elts know how to do this.
There would have to be PWM controller on the board to vary the speed. If the car dosen't have it, the remote wouldn't have it, so getting a remote that does, wouldn't help. Unless the remote PWMs the signal, that could possibly work. hmm and rather than building the remote, just hack the board, and connect a PWM setup onto the contacts. PWM would just basically press and release the button very rapidly, but do it fast enought, and it would smooth out.
Hmm... Ill have to look into that, I think that would work unless the board is so slow and cruddy but it probibly isn't. I am pritty shure it isn't already built in it was only 15 dollers unless its a very good deal I got.
