Well I'm starting the construction of a Case Etc LCD kit which is in reality aCrystal Fontz 636 with all the necessary stuff to assemble a parallel LCD... while before I had been considering externally mounting it, after figuring out that it would cost a host of problems doing that... I've cleared out my last 5.25" bay to make room for it and have already begun fixing the drive blank to mount it. Formerly the empty spot had been where I mounted the switch for my cold cathodes, so I need to do a little more modding, and turned my empty 3.5" plate into a switch bay this is what it looks like: in the background (bottom right of picture all you can see is the plug) is the pass through plug I made so I can power the LCD and my rheobus on one plug (makes life easy). THe spot the LCD is going in is: right there below the 4 shiny knobs of my rheobus (which is going to be revamped tomorrow I think... presuming I get LCD setup and everything; the rheostat on the far right is the messed up one I've got, its currently in full on position, going to flip it around see if it works when I revamp the rheobus, I'll post pictures of it all assembled when I do that) And while I was at it... I figured I'd take a picture of the instructions that come with the LCD In that one you can see the pass through plug I made...
well the rheobus is together and running wonderfully... and i've started on the CF LCD..... I'll post pics of both done
well its officially done.... all thats left is getting the panaflo on the alpha set o the rheobus (which means I need the alpha first...) but other than that.... rheobus is all made and running, as is the LCD.... here's a video of the LCD video
