    I'd completely forgotten that I read Star Lord in 1978 for that short time before it was deleted and some of the stories subsumed into 2000AD, which I didn't get into.

    Always a sad day when one of the old greats leaves us. I hope the current generation of comic book writers use this as an opportunity to reflect on their own work and think about how they can improve.

    As a kid, I read 2000AD from issue 1, and both Starlord & Tornado until they were swallowed.
