we just lost the ace of spades
He lived a surprisingly long life for a man who drank more Jack Daniels than most people will ever see.
What more can I say?
A sad loss indeed
Killed by death
Whilst the Ace of Spades is the quintessential Motörhead tune, this will always be one of my favourite Lemmy tunes:
Rock on eternal you glorious *******!
Lucky enough to see them live a few years ago at Sonisphere.
First gig I ever went to was Motorhead in 1980, the "Ace Up Your Sleeve" tour.
I haz sads. This helps, a little:
got to see him live this year! RIP
Crazy. Read about his cancer diagnosis one day, read about his death the next. RIP
It is horrible news to the Rock and Metal world. You know somebody made a difference when some of the bands I grew up on cite Motorhead as one of their main influences.
I was lucky enough to see them live a few years ago, and had seen a lot of stories recently of Lemmy not being able to do shows properly, I just hoped it was something not serious, Looks like it wasn't.
R.I.P Lemmy, I'm sure he is having a drink with Dio again now.
