Modding riveting window in with aluminuim rivets

    would aluminuim rivets work for holding in a window and is there some reason y they wouldn't or ill they do some kind of damage?

    Yes they would work but they can crack the perspex if your not careful.

    the clear window stuff :p

    anyways, wouldn't rivets have a problem holding together the thickness of the metal and window?

    perspex=plexy glass= plastic glass which in turn is used for windows in a computer case.

    yes it will work just make sure you have the right size rivits because if you dont you WILL crack the plexi and that always sucks, also if you need to take the window out for any reason you will have to drill the rivits out and you may or may not have to make another hole slightly larger than the first to get a nice tight fit

    One trick you can use on rivets that have to pull up against somthing soft is to use the correct size washer on the end so when the rivet expands , it expands against the washer rather than the window ... Rivet - Case - Window - Washer
