Does anybody know if there is a RJ45 single face plate where you can put an RJ45 cable in to the back of it that is already crimped instead of punching down the 8 cables?

Basically I have a cable that goes through walls and cannot be replaced but the 8 cables inside are really low quality, they're too thin and won't punch down properly.

ATM I've crimped it and use a coupler to get by until I can see if such a product exists!

These are the only types I can find.

you could punch down a good rj45 cable a couple of inchs long cable,, then use a female female rj45 extender to put your cable into.

Yeah, that was my plan B. Single back box is tight but think it would fit.

Not sure how deep they are, only seen them in floor boxes with floating floors. I'd imagine only a few mm bigger than the two jacks that go into them.

Contact cablemonkey and ask, they are nice chaps and will likely measure one for you :)

I learned something new today. I've just finished wiring everywhere upstairs at home and these will save me a lot of time when I fit the faceplates!
