Back in Feb I RMA'd a motherboard, ASUS P5N32-E Sli, it came back as a P5N32-E Sli Plus, am assuming just because of BIOS update, I had some trouble with RAM slots but I got over it and ignored but now am having to RMA is again!!

If this time am still unhappy how's best to handle etc?

    Thanks

Based on what I see form friend and my own personal experience. ASUS since 2005 make junk motherboards. They feel like low end 50-60$ ones. They always have problems, they don't do quality checks, everything breaks, long distance phone call for tech support and RMA and they make you hold for long period of time. In addition, in Canada ASUS takes about a month to a month and half before you receive a new motherboard. So you better have another computer in hand.

I saw MSI and Gigabyte in action from friend that got fed up to RMA their motherboard 2 to 4 times, and they are galaxies superior in all aspects. You assemble your computer and it just works. No need to touch the BIOS, no need to do some tricks to get the system working for the first time.

In my case, just now, my eSATA port which I have an external HDD plug-in, which rarely unplug, is broken. If I plug my external HDD, and computer lags more and more, until it freezes. During the lag process you still have a chance to unplug it to make it stop lagging and work normal, but once frozen.. it's frozen.. you have about 10sec before it freezes. One of my Ethernet ports can't keep a stead connection.. like physically. I fdyou look at the lights on the back they show ti works, then it turns off, like when the Ethernet port is disabled, and then comes back. Lucky I have 2 of them on the board.

My ASUS motherboard was RMA'd 4 times and now out of warranty. Socket 939 motherboard don't exists anymore, and it's a shame because I can still play all my games at max settings under 1920x1200. JUST because of Shitty ASUS, this means I have to buy a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM... not counting that my heatsink fan replacement cannot be used anymore.

I had problems with my P5n32-E, a failed overclock caused the board to start failing constantly. After RMA'ing it the second one constantly overheated, the northbridge heatsink didn't seem to be attached properly. Managed to get a replacement IP35-Pro off Scan at one of the i-events, while the 2nd board was RMA'd, that hasn't skipped a beat since. The 3rd board I sold to a friend, it then stopped booting a month later. Couldn't be bothered to RMA it again so it is sat in the garage doing nothing.
