I got robotwars over the weekend. shallow, oh so shallow. See robot=hit robot until it breaks. It is great fun. Not for the person who wants to think. Does anyone else have a totally shallow game that they like as well????
Street fighter 2 on the old skool arcades, picking Dhalsim and staying in the far corner punching your oponent with your super stretchy arms,
A game I don't like, but a game which is even more mind numbingly easy than... Pong? Is Serious Sam, no offence to anyone who likes this game but it's so boringly easy!! It's like a quake game, without the atmosphere. Okay, the graphics look lovely, I'll give it that, but gameplay? Pah, I hope they learn from their mistakes, and don't make a sequel.
i love that game, i have a bot built where i win in 15-20 seconds each round. LOL trying to make it lighter and faster i want to break the 12 second barrier
serious sam 2 is in the works lol, just came out with a demo as a matter of fact. right here im sure you will enjoy
Scrap Yard Wars. Spend hours make something out of sh!te and finishing up with a load of sh!te. Having said that, they have some great skillz and should turn there efforts to Case modding. Robot Wars Rullz and have some plans on the drawing board for a GiBTEK warrior. TiTch get the welder out we've got a job on  Its been done before over the net.
If its anything like our computers it will make lots of noice, blow a gail of wind, lock due to overclocked componants, but have very pretty blue lights:rofl:
But would you send your case into an arena to be mangled by... another case? One with angle grinders etc!
Never mind It will look the part if nothing else. You may be right though, but I'm sure we can come up with a first. Too many other things on but we could start a concept robot. It should have its own AI A computer controlling certain things UFO lighting Mod Web Cam to stream live action shots back to the site Made out of Kevla Flame Thrower And a nail gun
just in case someone reading this builds a bot. make it a wedge with 4 heavy duty rubber tires (solid) and on the wedge put 2 chainsaws that raise up. so when you get under them you can take out their electronics. as for the body, use lexan and use rounded cables for everything with LED's and maybe even put a cdrom in it, just for laughs. other than that, get one of those big black cube cases. paint it like a borg ship and install an industrial laser and just pick them apart from a distance and then they are dead, open up the front of the cube and engulf them LOL i know too much star trek
theres already been a robot built from a desktop case, with the cd rom that continually popped in and out
