top side 3d Now, as we all know thats the EHEIM 1250 all done to scale... but why am i posting this here you may ask, well ima tell ya . Its come to my attention that i seem to like designing and making stuff ( to the best of my knowlegde ) to scale in sketchup as it eats ALOT of time, and im a little on the obsesive compulsive side ( arent we all? ), so if the thing doesnt look right i MAKE it look right. Im offering my services to these forums for anyone that may want somethin to look good in sketchup and be fairly accurate for the planning of your future project ( this is wat im doign with my current one, in that before i do anything with stuff im doing it on sketchup to make sure it all fits and looks nice, as while i was doing this today i noticed that a few things wouldnt fit... had i purchased the stuff beforehand i woulda been ticked off !!! ) Things can take anywhere from an hour to a day or more ( just an fyi to anyone that may request something to be done ) based on the complexity of the item. The models im referring too are just for looks ( i cant stand simple boxes... ), and spacing simply because at this moment i dont have a digital camera.[ The model in question above took about 2 and a half to 3 hours to complete off and on working on it while eating a steak and cheese calzone ] If anyone would like me to makem something in sketchup or just even comment on the model ^ ( feedback would be just lovely ) just post a reply here with your email so i can send you your model or just drop me an email at dd_loki1@lycos.com ** im aware there isnt mounting holes or the holes in the gray on there, simply because im not designing something to be machined/casted/carved or however else you wanna make something ** :: ive also got a BlackIce Extreme with a 120mm vantec stealth on it all made by me, incase anyone was wondering if this was the only one i had made so far :: PS: the funny thing is... ive only been using sketchup for about a week !!!
oops, i was doin some spring cleaning on my pic hosting site and i geuss i deleted the wrong pics o well, heres something ive been working on for a few days now all to scale and most to exact specs as finding some of the dimensions for some of the things was damn near impossible ( half those few days was looking for the dimensions for the stuff !!! )
No real point putting each of the blocks in parallel like that. The flow through each will be a third of what it would be if configured in series. The performance would therefore be not as good. But maybe you're not after high performance, I dunno. On a more on-topic note, your sketchup skills seem well, alright. I might ask for a little of your help with something I'm doing - I couldn't find good schematics of all the various ports on the motherboard.
yea, upon talking with a friend of mine whos alot older and alot more knowledgeable in this type of stuff than I, he suggested lowering the hose at the bottom and putting Y pieces in instead of the T pieces, and moving/changing the res to above the rest of the cooling stuff ( which i am gonna finish modeling by tonight, hopefully ) honestly... i spent a good 30-45 minutes looking aroudn for that and other things on the mobo and couldnt find it i just eyeballed it
