been playing it for a while now; seen a few glowing orbs around too; i like that feature.

has anyone noticed that the image gamma is a little.... off? highlights on objects are blown out even after adjusting gamma using the slider in the options.

it could be my TV (it's crap) because i noticed this a bit in halo 3 too.

If you try hard enough, it just outright stops appearing.

I only have one quest remaining, and I've not seen that accursed glowy line since I finished the bounty hunter jobs. Annoyingly, though, I still have at least five silver keys to get :/

i'm gonna chime in on the breadcrumb trail - i like it. it's subtle and useful. it's nice knowing that you can wander around the gameworld without having to stop and take your bearing every time you find a new area. you can explore, explore, and explore some more, and then just follow the breadcrumb back to where you should be going. sorted. just because it's there doesn't mean you have to follow it.

Is anyone else finding it horrifically easy to make money in the end game?

I was struggling near the start, but a few businesses, houses and 100% price increases, and now I have more than I know what to do with. Except buying out everything that every shop has in stock, which gets a touch boring. I might have to switch it over to -60% price..

Question is, do you mean the Shadow temple thing, or Fairfax Castle?

I prefered the latter, since you get more for your money than you do with the shadow temple do-dad.

Just out of interest, how has everyone set up their characters?

me: everything invested in ranged skill and the time control spell

Makes for some incredibly impressive close combat sniping in busy parts of the game

started another hero that'll level as a pure magic user

Maxed everything out. That's her :B. Looks kinda like a man.. But hey, I guess whoever did the female corruption/evil setup hasn't studied that many womens faces..

I'm currently using the Daichi Katana and The Enforcer. Previously I was using a Master Katana with the Golden Touch augment. Spell wise, I only really use Inferno, if that. I just love the glowing will tattoos.

Anyone know how to make your guy lose weight?

No, they're the Will users glowing tattoos or something daft like that. You get them when you do enough Will training. Not sure when, though, because both my corruption/evil body morphs and my Will tatt morphs bugged out, and I didn't get either until I save&quit then reloaded.

The evil thing is the blue/gray skin, which is very cracked, and the horns :B

oh that makes sense. I'm trying to play it through the first time as a fairly good player. Does the choice of will spells you learn affect your alignment in any way? It seems to me that some spells are obviously evil (raise dead) while others seem neutral.

I haven't noticed spells making a difference to my alignment, or my friends alignment, so I would assume it doesn't, even given the general 'evil' nature of some of the spells.

ooh i did some googling. 'good' spells are easier to level up if you are good, and you can max them out beyond level 3, and likewise for evil. there's a modifier that says how much cheaper levelling is somehwere in your character stats.

I notice how many of you have completed the game already....is it that shortlived? What's replayability like? Can't make my mind up whether to buy it or not tbh....help!

that's because they're in the US and/or they've been playing it hardcore following the quest. there is a lot to do besides the main quest that isn't just filler - although if you did just keep your head down and follow the quest, it's supposed to be about 20hrs worth.

buy it, buy it, buy it.

sainsburys are selling it for £30.
