    Gamers!

Anyone heard about LA Noire! New Rockstar game - probably built on the GTA4 engine. Just heard about it because its sponsoring one of our channels 'Sky Movies Crime and Thriller'

If nothing else, the facial animations are AMAZING!

Check out the vids on the site here

Have a look here at the tech for the faces, it's immense.

Yep - looking forward to this one - interesting concept of looking for clues and solving crimes. I hope it is implemented as well as it sounds.

Yes, I've known about this game for ages. I can't wait! :D

I love Rockstar games in general, good to see them using the GTA IV engine again.

How come no PC release? That's strange.

it looks a whole lot of fun

and if they are using the same engine from GTA4 that is good imo as it was very good and they improved the one thing I thought wasn't very good about it and that is the faces, also I found that occasionally I was stuck in a traffic jam at 1am

Not if Red Dead Redemption is anything to go by. Definitely worth buying an XBox for though.

Looks very promising, I'm waiting anxiously for this. Red Dead was proof that RAGE is an amazing engine for creating a fairly life like world, especially once it was transported from Liberty City to Old West.

in fairness, RDR has not been out a year. still plenty of time for R* to announce a PC port.

The facial animation does look awesome. It'll change the way story-lines are depicted from now on. More atmosphere and drama. The way the game is based on studying the characters expressions is a whole new mechanic.

Erm ... no. PC > 360. For me, if it ain't on PC, it ain't in my collection. There are loads of games to be getting on with until they decide to release it on PC. If ever. No biggie if they don't.

Now is not the time to be buying a dated 360. Now is the time to upgrade PC's and wait for whatever next gen consoles are coming.

Well that's your perogative. I bought an Xbox purely for Forza 3, GTA IV: Episodes from Liberty City (so I could play it when it came out) and for Red Dead. It didn't cost much, plus I had a great time without waiting for a game that may never be released on the PC. Choice is yours. :)

And I wouldn't get your hopes up about next gen consoles, I think they're still a while away yet...
