Other ROG LCD Poster

    Hi all,

    I have been given a brand new ASUS ROG LCD poster, my question is can this be used with any motherboard :)

    no the connection is only on the rog motherboards afaik

    Heres what i got from the Asus website.

    External LCD Poster
    Debug and read system problems with an new external look!
    The new LCD Poster now posts critical POST information in an ever friendly and flexible external display. When system malfunction occurs, the LCD Poster automatically detects device failure and translates the errors on the LCD during POST. Unlike other competing 2 digit displays, users won´t need to read "gibberish" to find out what´s wrong.


    This LCD poster will not work on any motherboard. It works on some of the Asus motherboards only.

    seems best thing to do is post this in the marketplace see if anyone can make use of this :)

    yeah the poster only came with the Crosshair 2,3. And the striker 2 extream, And I think it also came with the Commando. Their may of been a couple of other models that it came with.

    I had the Crosshair 1,2 and 3 and only the 2nd and 3rd ones had it. If I remember the crosshair 1 had a Poster that was actualy on the I/o shieldplate. Same thing with the striker 1 as well I think.

    Put it on ebay is your best bet. Someone may of bought a old rog MB and needs the poster.

    It'll work with limited boards sorry, it was a custom pin-out many years ago.

    If your willing to let it go for postage costs I'll take it Kelvin. I've got a Maximus II Formula that I'm trying to sell but the wire got snapped on my LCD poster. If I have this then I can advertise it as a complete fully boxed package.

    I hated these things. Mine for my old Striker 2 kept saying CPU INT all the time. (It was a fault that rendered the board useless and only witchcraft could solve.) Fun days; I swore off Intel for a period after that.
