Click for large (recommended). Picture has been selectively saturated and brightness/contrast has been tweaked heavily on the RAW. There has been no photoshop retouching except for the border. Lemme know what you think EDIT: Not POTM. Decided against it.
I like the idea, it's a nice photograph with good processing . . . but the dark areas detract too much from the subject for me. The leafs are amazing . . . but my eye keeps being drawn away from them.
Thanks Yeah I think I see what you mean. My goal was to bring forward the two large leafs in the lower left and I see that it needs an entirely different crop. Thanks for the feedback
Since I haven't submitted this one to the POTM site would it be to break the rules to withdraw it? (I've got two new ones that I just can't choose between... )
