    Hey all.

I have ADSL, and am using ICS from my PC to all the other PC's. I am using the Alcatel Speed Touch USB modem and thinking of buying a router so i don't have to leave my PC on. I would like one with a built in switch. I liked the look of the Netgear RP114. Is that suitable for my needs. Netgear are generally reliable and cheap, if anyone can recomend something else please do

Use the search button but as im in a good mood try www.adslguide.org.uk for reviews on routers for adsl in the uk. Also you can have routers that don't need a modem and some that do like vigor 2200USB.

I made a change from the fish to an Asus AAM6000EV a good few months ago now. Works a treat, it's web-admin port forwarding is little annoying, but there are plenty of guides to show you how to manipulate the port forwarding via the units commandline over telnet.

What ever you do, do not buy the Netgear RP 144, it does not support PPPoA which is the protocol ADSL operates on here in the UK, it only supports PPPoE, I bought one of these routers aswell, and am now stuck with it.
