    Hi,
    I have set up my linksys router to forward requests to specific ips.

    Here is what the configuration looks like:
    _________________________

    OSXvnc - port 5900 to 5900 - TCP - 192.168.1.100

    winVNC - port 5900 to 5900 - TCP - 192.168.1.101

    _________________________

    Above those are two different computers on the network running VNC (one is a mac and the other is a pc)

    Obiously there are conflicts with this, as two different computers are using the same port. When I try to connect it simply doesn't work.
    I know how how to change the port # on the OS X vnc version, but do not know how to change the port for the vnc client.
    It would work if I changed the port of both the server and client and than updated the router information.

    Please advise with any tips. :duh:

    first off, welcome to the boards!

    for connecting use {ip address}:{port}

    you say windows sucks, but you use it ;)

    /me hides the fact that he dual-boots
