NTL - DSL/Cable Router

what is AOL?

etc ones that come though your telephone line are ADSL

NTL are a cable system ie it comes thorugh the same cables as NTL TV does is DSL/Cable

 

so you need an ADSL router

 

I dont think it comes down his telephone wire, he has ntl phone and tv down stairs, he says its a wire through is wall into a modem bok

 

I'm pretty sure you can get AOL through a NTL cable... why on earch you want to I'd never know.

Simply put if you have an ADSL connection you need an ADSL modem router if you have anytype of conection with which they provide you with an ethernet modem (i.e NTL) you need an ethernet or cable/DSL router
