Just thought I'd share my glee at getting this last night:

    This is the photo:

I've had a few requests for various things before that have always fallen through for whatever reason, but I spoke with them today and we've exchanged details so once paperwork comes through it's all settled. Yes, I will be gaining a fairly modest payment, considering it's 150,000 prints, but it's a nice time of year to come so I shan't complain. Plus every other deal I've tried to barter has fallen through so I was happy to settle at a reasonable rate this time.

I think I'm just quite stoked that it'll be in a Royal Mail stamp book which, amongst anything, is a nice thing to go on the portfolio. Okay so it's not making the actual stamps, but it's still pretty sweet.

PS - Didn't really know how to tag this as it's more of a 'woo' than anything else.

Thats great news, and I agree it's worthwhile even if the pay is modest.
I've only had the opportunity once to be published, but due to my amazing bartering skills it fell through.

    Thanks guys. :D

Definitely, though it may be some time. Google turned up next year's stamp programme which states they won't be out until next July. :(

Yeah, had a message in my Flickr inbox last night. Interesting to know these sorts of companies on projects such as these will use Flickr.

Nice one, I remember looking at your red arrows shots in the summer and loving them.

My brother's been a subscriber to the Royal Mail's first day covers programme for years, I'll be sure to look out for your shot in July!
