I bought some rubber molding for my window (its car door trim) and I have a few questions:

    1) I accidently scratched it a bit while putting it on, how can i get rid of the scratches?

    2) Is safe to spray paint it? (the black rubber color is kinda out of place)

    3) if it is safe, should i paint before or after i put it in place?

for removing the scrattch try rubbing just some veggy oil on it, all of it to give it a nice shinny black....

Painting rubber... not a good idea, if you were gonna do it do it after its in place, but not that it is highly recommended that you dont paint it, your asking for trouble if you do

as far as the painting goes...you can try with vinyl dye. Plasticote makes it and they should sell it at Halfords (sp?) Lol I live in the states so I dont know if that is the right place to get it, but any hardware store over there should have it.

Ill try the veggy oil when I get home (Im at school right now) but I guess I wont paint it since people have said it wouldnt work too well/wouldnt be worth it. I guess it wont look too bad since Im gonna tint the window black.
