We appreciate that! Since I wasn't aware we even had a rugby team, I have to ask a very ignorant noobie question: Do we stand a chance against France, or do they not give up as easily in sports as they do elsewhere?

    :D

    /ducking to avoid the responses

Well, then you'll have to get them for us! I don't care if the U.S. wins the Cup...as long as France doesn't.

    :D

What time does it start? I'll see if I can find box scores or play-by-play's on the net.

:grr: The US lost that game, so is that it for the US team? I mean is it single elimination or best of?

Nah - calm down. It's only the pool games at the moment. Top two teams from each pool will enter the knockouts:

    http://www.rugbyworldcup.com/RugbyWorldCup/EN/Tournament/Matches/

USA still have another three matches to rack up the points. If you scroll down the page on that link above, you'll see the format of the knock outs to come. The following link shows the standings in the pools at the moment:

    http://www.rugbyworldcup.com/RugbyWorldCup/EN/Tournament/Pools/

It's not all bad though, at least you managed to get a bonus point for loosing by less than 7 points.

Well - wasn't that a heart-stopping match. I haven't screamed at the TV for a long time, but I made an exception today... :eeek:

First world cup match in 15 years and first after 10 consecutive world cup defeats!

    Good effort. :thumb:
