News Rumour: AMD Radeon HD 7000 series to hit early December

    Can't go wrong with a 560ti or a HD 6950 really. If you don't want to wait for the 7xxx or 6xx series, then either of those will do a grand job.

    Maybe for you, but there was that whole driver frying cards and then of course that whole 8400m thing.

    After the way they treated both of those fiascos, I'm sticking with AMD. Driver issues are fixable by reverting, fried or poorly made cards are not, especially if that card is in a very expensive laptop (like mine). "Darn my game glitched" is preferable to "sorry to hear your graphics card is fried and $2000 laptop is defective, but look on the bright side, it's a great time to upgrade to one of our soon to be retired graphics cards, we recommend Nvidia! Don't forget, in 3 months Fermi will be here, and you can upgrade again! :thumb:"

    Until Nvidia makes serious changes (or AMD royally screws up), they get as little of my money as possible.

    There is a special place in hell for that company.
