    Anyone upgrading too, or installing, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS will need Leggazoid's cure to install the necessary Python file which has been deprecated in the newer version of Ubuntu.

    In summary, run the following lines of code;
    Code:
    wget http://launchpadlibrarian.net/109052632/python-support_1.0.15_all.deb
    sudo dpkg -i python-support_1.0.15_all.deb

    Update:
    I have upgraded three machines from 15.04, through 15.10, to 16.04 LTS - they are all now Folding happily.
    One issue I did come across, however, is that, though the GTX 9xx series cards work fine with the 361.42 proprietary nVidia drivers, the GTX 780Ti's did not. In this case I rolled back to version 340.96, and all was well.
