I’m running a Home office, I have 4 pc two of which im running win98 OS and other two latest one is Win 2003 server and another one Win vista. When I try to make a Network connection its showing error. I just want to know should I upgrade my two pc to win xp or win2003 the error is incompatibility. Is that the only solution for this, any suggestions! Plz help. Thanks in advance

Only solution or not, it's time to upgrade. If Microsoft has given up on Windows 98, you should too.

I've had Win98SE work fine on my home network.
It was a bigger pain than XP or 2k, but that computer could browse the network and play games and such.

Can't recall exactly what made it work. I'm guessing you've exhausted google searching?

Edit just to say that an older machine still runs win98 fine. I wouldn't update to XP on it ever.
98 works just fine for all of my old games. (Master of Magic 4evar!)
