When it was first aired they actually searched the HoP for hidden recording devices, that's how close to the bone it cut. This thread is worth a read in its entirety: Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
I came here to draw the Mr. Benn comparison. @Gareth Halfacree beat me to it. I like an episode of Mr. Benn from time to time. It was, last time I looked, all on Amazon Prime. Perhaps some light relief from the very unpleasant goings on.
I'm not a fan of the Conservatives at all so see most of this but thought it was a quite week until I saw this
Apparently if Putin runs out of cash he's going to raid civilian bank accounts for a trillion dollar loan. That'll go down about as well as the Hindenburg. Apparently people are already emptying their accounts.
I loved that show. So much so I watched it through on Amazon a couple of months back. It was awful lol. However, what it did do was take me back to a world where imagination was everything.
They might as well let him have it - it'll be worthless by the end of the week anyway. Rumour has it this could push a lot of Russians towards crypto. There goes another year of GPU availability
I believe, but a quick DuckDuckGo couldn't confirm, that it's in reference to him having voted (or campaigned, I'm not sure) for dual-nationals (or just dual-nationals who weren't resident in the UK at the time of the vote) to not receive a vote - but they did, in the end, despite his efforts. Or it's a mistake, I dunno!

Been a while since I posted but knew bit-tech would be one of the few places I could come for a serious discussion on this. I'm hoping they agree a peace deal which buys Ukraine time to re-arm itself and protect itself. I think they will need to give up crimea and agree to not joining NATO and remaining neutral. I acknowledge the argument that they are a sovereign nation and should be able to self-determine etc but that **** would not fly on the western hemisphere (see Monroe Doctrine) for the US, it's somewhat unrealistic to expect Russia to roll over with a potential NATO ally on their front door. The most concerning thing is I work with politicians and the our favourite Blue party (not my choice mind you) and I have zero faith in them having seen how they work (or should I say, don't work). They literally have no idea WTF is going on and constantly push through stupid ideas, twist the truth and make up their own reality - we pretty much have our own dictatorship here under them as the games rigged here too pretty much; it's going to take something monumental to get someone decent in. Zelensky kinda makes a mockery and sobering truth to it - a comedian has stood and defended his country with far bigger balls and brains than anyone we have...
