He can't win. Ever. You can never control will. So no matter how much he thinks he can possibly win anything he's wrong. The Taliban won. They really did. Our lapdogs literally grabbed as much cash as they could carry and then did one. This though? I was totally wrong about myself. I really thought Putin would roll in and they'd brick it and surrender. Maybe that's one thing I have in common with many, I don't know. Talk about your all time backfire.
I think it's possible he could still achieve a tactical win but with a strategic loss. He can't have both, that went out the window the moment the Ukrainian government didn't fold so he could get a pro-Russian/friendly government in there and keep bloodshed to a minimum. The strategic loss will be getting worse as Ukrainian resentment grows stronger over time with each dead Ukrainian. Not to forget western MSM, which pretty much controls the narrative here. It's also a propaganda war and war on peoples minds and perception, no different than in Iraq or Afghanistan. I mean, 20 years of killing civilians and illiterate Afghan goat herders and not many people gave a **** about that. Granted, it was not in our own backyard and no one was drafted so it didn't impact society and families enough for the majority to care, but still. Yeah, that's definitely one way of putting it. A bit of a cluster ****.
Why? Because they were brown and it was the middle East? Maybe it doesn't seem the same because Putin avoided the whole cock a meme story and just invaded a sovereign nation. All ******** aside? It's the same thing. Saddam's WMD did not exist and we had no proof whatsoever with which to invade a country, kill its leader, destabilise the whole region and install another puppet. All ******** aside we should have been more worried about Iran. The major difference is that we can literally watch a war happening now. Which is yet another mistake Putin has made. He thinks he can lie to his people and hide things like the old days. But it doesn't work like that any more. Everything is visible now. Going back to Iraq? That was literally all over a fued between Bush and Hussein. So it was even more pointless. Yet god knows how many people died, lost children and loved ones and still suffer from it today. There's still fighting going on out there. Only you don't see it because we lost interest. It was exactly the same **** in Afghanistan. All that, thousands of soldiers dead from the UK and USA, total waste of God knows how many billions of dollars and shock horror, Afghani lives, displaced children, soldiers left with PTSD and for what? Oh yeah, for them to find Bin Laden X years later and kill him in Pakistan. Then we decide we're bored of wasting lives and money and just f off leaving them in total **** street. But again, once a couple week passes the cameras switch off and that's it. Izzy wizzy let's get busy and *poof* no more problems. Even what we did in Serbia came with sickening behaviour for years after. Like I said though, genocide on Muslims is no different to what happened with the Jews so I was all for killing that ******. An immoral war is an immoral war no matter how you approach it.
Boris has said that Russian News channel RT is "doing damage to the truth". Unofficial sources have reported that Boris went on to say that, if RT wanted to stop pissing around and get down to truly annihilating the truth, he was available to consult. For a fee.
Rumblings of Putin's regime seizing money; https://news.ru/economics/v-gosdume-prokommentirovali-vozmozhnuyu-konfiskaciyu-sberezhenij-rossiyan/ English interpretation; https://www.fxempire.com/news/artic...tizens-deposits-if-sanctions-get-worse-911307 This is going to get real crazy internally as well as externally. How many textbooks are our lives going to be in by the time we're in the grave?
So Liz Truss is to blame for bringing us closer to Nuclear annihilation, well according to Putin the Mad Hatter, although it has to be said I do wish she would think before speaking https://news.sky.com/story/ukraine-...ce-forces-on-high-alert-kremlin-says-12554048 To make things even more surreal, Roman Abramovich is now the been asked to assist in the peace talks in Belarus https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...eace-deal-russia-ukraine-belarus-b985045.html Edit: should check spelling before clicking post
She appears more than 700 times on the government's Flickr account. Every single shot taken, edited, and published by taxpayer-funded staff. She's been in the Cabinet, what, eight months? That's 88 photos a month every month. Less Foreign Secretary and more Gender-Flipped Mr. Benn.
Just weighing her down so when she falls off the deck of the carrier she stays under long enough for them to search and not find her.
Mr Benn at least held down a stable day job. She's more Flailing Grayling in drag. EDIT: Today's shameless photo oppo from de Pfeffel Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
The only way to sort out the Truss problem, is to shift her to another job where she has lees potential to do harm. Minister for Ministerial Affairs should do it. Was good enough for Jim Hacker...
I've been watching these while injured and I'm convinced it's an up to date documentary with names changed for security reasons.
