    This is truly excellent.

I am more than a little envious. Whenever I see these exposed systems I really want one, and this has a fairly unique look done very nicely. Also, you're a local boy (based on that crate) so that gets you extra points.

I bet lifting it into place was quite a nerve-wracking experience - I imagine with the right (likely custom) cables you could make disconnects at each end of the copper pipes to make placement/removal easier, but I guess if you're not going to be moving it much there's not a lot of reason to go that far.

What sort of temps do you get? And how's the noise? I worry about exposed electronics and the noise/heat angle with wall mount builds, but don't actually know if I should or if I'm just being a big jessie.

    Thanks guys!

So I played a relatively new game, Dying Light on High settings 1080p for an hour this week to just check that everything was working OK and see how hot and loud it got.

Graphics card spun up to a low whirrrrr, but I couldn't hear it above the TV.

Kraken software showed Max GPU temp as 59

    And max CPU was 48

Finishing touches now. At the weekend I cut out the slots in the metal box for the 2 USBs exposed next to the power button.

I had purchased an Anker USB hub which was now wired into my build

I used my metal snips to cut away a majority on the supporting bracket so it would fit inside the box and still provide support for the USBs

I created a wood shelf inside the box for the bracket to sit on and would glue this in when I fixed it to the wall. I also used the metal snips to cut the holes for the USBs. Not a super-neat job, but looked okay after I filed the edges down

I set the bracket in place inside the box and it went up fairly easily. I'm pleased with the result of the easy access USB slots compared to the alternative!

Not too bad at all :)

I spent the week running the PC to make sure everything was working okay and doing some final touch ups. I sprayed the grey ribbon on the PCIe riser to give it a copper accent and complete the look.

I'd also had 1 BSOD reboot which was odd, so I decided to create two small brackets to pin the PCIe riser to the wood and away from the back of the graphics card. The riser is shielded but I wanted to make sure this wasn't going to be a common problem. (edit: A week later and several hours played of Dyling Light and the PC has been running fine. :))

The finished PCIe riser. I liked the standard silver ribbons so I kept them as-is

I used two thin strips of metal to pin the cable down. Once plugged in, these are mostly hidden behind the cable itself

Superb. Seen a few good wall mounts but this is has to be my favourite. Love the power botton, maybe you could put in a reset switch that works off a fire alarm?
