I'm currently doing a permadeath runthrough of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that I thought some of you guys might find interesting. I'll be updating it at least once every week and it's basically a picture diary with words giving my opinions and such. www.metzopaino.wordpress.com This is my first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game so I admit I'll probably do some things you find infuriating but I think they often end in quite funny results. Oh and if you don't know what permadeath is it means that once I die that's the end, I have to start from scratch, it really ramps up the already considerable tension and atmosphere. Here are some examples: I'd love to know what you guys think etc.
Good luck, I've always played safe in STALKER but death has a habit of finding you in such interesting fashions as spawning you into a 12 strong group of bandits/whatever faction you've pissed off recently Much kudos if you can get near anywhere near the end
Is a permadeath runthrough also known as an Iron Man runthrough? Or am I imagining things? First Stalker game eh? Good luck
I never died in my first (and so far only) CoP playthrough, but then i was playing on Stalker difficulty. What difficulty are you playing on, OP?
GL youll need it. My Advice, RUN AWAY!!!!!! alot, and have lots of medpacks. Get the G36 and upgrade it soon as possible. oh and RUN AWAY!!!!!
Running away, and strategic stashes are a godsend. And they need an add map marker on the PDA, that would make it so much more immersive..just imagine, knowing where all your stashes are.
